Rick Brown was a husband, father, brother, and son as well as an accomplished musician. He was known as “The Rumble Man” (click to hear) and he loved playing gigs with his band, The Gas Pump Jockeys (Columbus, OH).
Before his passing, Rick requested that donations be made to On A Better Note Music Therapy because he believed in the power of music to change lives. To honor his memory, we have set up this memorial scholarship to financially assist individual families that otherwise may not be able to access music therapy services.
We hope the “Rick Brown Scholarship” will serve as a lasting legacy of Rick’s love for music and his compassionate spirit. Our deepest condolences and gratitude remain with Rick’s family and friends.
If you’d like to contribute to the scholarship, please click the “Donate” button below or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for a mailing address to send checks. Thank you.
